Mental Health Month & You—Be the Evidence of Recovery

With spring welcoming us with its warm temperatures, soft floral colors, and the young greens of budding trees, it feels as though hope is literally in the air! You can also feel the growing hope and excitement in the mental health advocacy communities throughout the nation, as we welcome Mental Health Month today. This annual event offers the opportunity to share the positive messages and possibilities for mental health recovery on a national stage.

The ITE/MH Campaign honors and celebrates the work that is being done to highlight mental health awareness, and the involvement of those who are the Evidence of recovery and the people who support them. We’d like to help promote and share your efforts with others, to inspire action on the ITE/MH values all year round.

To mark Mental Health Month, ITE/MH wants to celebrate your recovery or your support of people in recovery. We invite you to share a photo of yourself—alone, with another person, or as part of a group. We will feature your photo on our blog and Facebook page, along with your message about how you are the Evidence. Our hope is to be able to show all of the beautiful faces of people who provide hope, example, and connection to others every day—together, we’re all the Evidence.
